Why This Knife Works
The drop point blade shape is a time-tested design that excels at general cutting tasks while maintaining structural integrity. D2 steel provides excellent edge retention, making it ideal for tactical use, outdoor work, or everyday carry. The OTF mechanism means your blade is ready instantly—no fumbling with folders or fixed blade sheaths.
The NYPD blue finish isn't just aesthetics; it protects the steel and makes this knife instantly recognizable. Whether you're a professional, outdoor enthusiast, or serious knife collector, the Cobratec FS3 delivers the performance you expect from a quality tactical blade.
Maintenance
Keep the blade clean and dry. D2 steel benefits from occasional light oiling to prevent surface rust. The OTF mechanism should be kept free of debris for reliable operation.
