Girsan Witness2311: Modern Commander-Size Reliability

The Girsan Witness2311 represents a thoughtful evolution of proven 1911 design principles, scaled to the practical Commander size that has earned respect among serious shooters for over seven decades.

Key Features

• Caliber & Capacity: 45 ACP with 11+1 round capacity—substantial firepower in a manageable package
• Barrel Length: 4.25-inch barrel balances velocity, accuracy, and concealability
• Optic Ready: Pre-cut slide accepts modern red dot sights for contemporary defensive or sport shooting
• Fixed Sights: Robust fixed sight system provides reliable aiming without electronic dependency

Design Philosophy

The Witness2311 honors the single-action, locked-breech operating system that has proven itself in countless engagements. The Commander profile offers the handling characteristics serious shooters demand—compact enough for duty or carry, yet with sufficient sight radius and barrel length for precision work.

Practical Considerations

This is a straightforward, no-nonsense pistol. The optic-ready slide accommodates modern aiming systems, while the fixed sights ensure you're never dependent on batteries or electronics. The 45 ACP cartridge delivers proven stopping authority with manageable recoil in this platform.
