Star Firearms SFX9 CMP Compact Pistol
The SFX9 CMP represents a thoughtful approach to compact 9mm pistol design, combining practical dimensions with genuine shootability. This is a firearm built for those who understand that compromise need not mean sacrifice.
Key Features
- Barrel Length: 3.25 inches—the sweet spot for concealed carry without sacrificing sight radius or velocity
- Finish: Black DLC coating provides corrosion resistance and a professional appearance
- Lightrail System: Integrated accessory rail for mounting lights or lasers
- Magazine Capacity: Two 15-round magazines deliver substantial firepower in a compact package
- Caliber: 9mm—the modern standard for self-defense and sport shooting
Design Philosophy
The SFX9 CMP refuses to apologize for its size. The 3.25" barrel length is no accident; it balances concealability with the velocity needed for modern defensive ammunition. The Lightrail system acknowledges modern defensive realities—a mounted light transforms low-light encounters from guesswork into controlled situations.
Practical Considerations
This pistol suits those who carry daily and shoot regularly. The 15-round magazine capacity means fewer reloads during training sessions, while the compact profile remains manageable in appendix or waistband carry. The Black DLC finish resists the wear and corrosion that comes with regular use.
Whether you're building your first defensive pistol or adding to an established collection, the SFX9 CMP deserves serious consideration.
