The Anderson AM15 represents a straightforward approach to the modern sporting rifle—built on proven direct impingement principles with quality components and honest engineering.

Barrel and Action

Barrel: The 16" 4150 chrome moly vanadium barrel features a 1:8 twist rate optimized for a wide range of ammunition weights. Gas nitride finishing provides corrosion resistance and durability.

Action: Direct impingement operation keeps the design simple and reliable. The carbine-length gas system balances reliability with ergonomics.

Receiver and Controls

The forged 7075 T6 aluminum receiver set is Type III hard anodized for protection. The AM-15 M16 profile bolt carrier group and standard mil-spec charging handle provide familiar operation. Classic A2 pistol grip furniture and a 6-position adjustable buffer tube with carbine weight buffer allow you to customize the rifle's feel and handling.

Handguard and Accessories

The 15" M-LOK free-float handguard keeps the barrel free from contact, supporting accuracy. An integrated 3" Picatinny rail section at the muzzle and a Picatinny bridge to the upper receiver provide mounting options for optics and accessories.
