The Rossi Tuffy Turkey: Purpose-Built for .410 Turkey Hunting
The Tuffy Turkey represents a thoughtful approach to .410 shotgun design. Unlike general-purpose .410 models, this gun is specifically engineered around turkey loads and the ballistic requirements of small-bore turkey hunting.
Key Features
- 26-inch barrel — the longest in the Tuffy lineup, optimized for turkey loads and extended sight radius
- 3-inch chamber — accommodates modern .410 turkey ammunition for maximum velocity and pattern density
- Extra-full choke tube — pre-installed to concentrate pellet patterns and extend effective range
- Cylinder-bore design — works in concert with the extra-full choke for consistent patterns
- Break-action mechanism — simple, reliable, and easy to operate in the field
- Synthetic thumbhole stock (OD Green) — ergonomic grip suitable for various hand sizes and shooting positions
- Integrated shell holder — holds up to 8 rounds (4 per side) for quick reloads
- Cross-bolt safety — positive, intuitive operation
Practical Advantages
The Tuffy Turkey's compact length-of-pull and lightweight construction (58.8 oz) make it equally at home as a truck gun, survival tool, or farm/camp shotgun. The thumbhole stock design accommodates both youth and smaller-framed shooters without sacrificing functionality. Its overall length of 41 inches keeps the gun maneuverable in brush and timber.
The Right Tool for the Job
If you're serious about .410 turkey hunting, the Tuffy Turkey eliminates guesswork. The combination of barrel length, chamber capacity, and extra-full choke creates the ballistic foundation that .410 turkey loads demand.
