Butler Creek Ultra Sling: Practical Rifle Carry
The Butler Creek Ultra Sling delivers the kind of straightforward functionality that working shooters appreciate. This is a sling designed to do one job well: keep your rifle secure and comfortable during extended carry.
Key Features
- Dimensions: 72 inches long, 1 inch wide—proportioned for rifles of all common types
- Material: Cordura nylon construction resists wear and weather
- Shoulder Pad: Quilted design lies flat against your body, distributing weight evenly without bunching
- Non-Slip Backing: Keeps the sling from sliding on your shoulder during movement
- Hardware: Heavy-duty buckles and keepers maintain secure attachment and prevent unwanted shifting
- Color: Classic black finish
Practical Considerations
This sling represents the middle ground between minimalist designs and heavily featured alternatives. The quilted pad provides genuine comfort during long days afield, while the Cordura material withstands the rigors of hunting, sport shooting, and field use. The non-slip backing is a thoughtful detail that prevents the constant adjustment many shooters experience with lesser slings.
Whether you're carrying a rifle through timber or across open country, the Butler Creek Ultra Sling handles the job without fuss or pretense.
