These precision-engineered projectiles represent a modern approach to hunting ammunition, machined from lead-free solid copper bar stock on CNC lathes for consistency and reliability.
Design and Performance
The MTH line features a high ballistic coefficient profile suitable for hunting at extended ranges. The bullets employ a patented SealTite band—a precisely engineered band slightly larger than caliber diameter that serves two critical functions:
- Eliminates fliers by preventing gas blow-by around the bullet
- Reduces copper fouling typically associated with monolithic copper bullets
Expansion Characteristics
Unlike traditional expanding bullets, these projectiles fracture upon impact. After 1-2 inches of penetration, 3-4 petals break away and radiate outward from the main wound channel, creating a wound cavity approximately 2-3 inches in diameter. This controlled fragmentation delivers massive trauma while maintaining deep penetration.
The bullets will expand reliably down to 1600 feet per second, making them effective across a wide range of hunting scenarios.
