TangoDown Battlegrip BG-17: Purpose-Built for Serious Shooters
The Battlegrip BG-17 represents a thoughtful evolution in rifle ergonomics. This is the larger variant of TangoDown's proven grip design, engineered specifically for shooters with larger hands who demand comfort and control during extended shooting sessions.
Design and Ergonomics
The BG-17 features an extended backstrap and beavertail that work together to provide a secure, natural grip angle of 27 degrees. The aggressive, non-slip texture ensures positive control even in adverse weather conditions or when wearing gloves. The comfortable ergonomic form absorbs recoil effectively, making it an excellent choice for full-power rifle platforms like .308/7.62mm and larger caliber systems.
Practical Storage
One of the standout features is the weather-resistant internal storage cavity. This thoughtful addition allows you to carry spare batteries for optics, small parts, or even a complete M4 bolt assembly—keeping essential items secure and accessible without adding bulk to your kit.
Construction and Compatibility
Injected molded from heat and impact-modified polymer, the BG-17 is built to withstand demanding use. At just 4 ounces, it adds minimal weight to your rifle.
The grip fits all M4, M16, and AR-15 type rifles and carbines, as well as AR-10, SR-25, MK11, MK16S, and MK17S platforms. Any weapon receiver configured for M16/AR-15 type grips will accept the BG-17.
What's Included
Each grip comes with a stainless steel fastener installation tool and complete instructions for straightforward installation. Made in the USA.
