Important Break-In Information
Glock magazines are engineered with tight tolerances for reliability. New magazines may feel stiff during loading, and the final round may not fit until the magazine has been properly broken in.
Recommended break-in procedure:
- Load the magazine with eight rounds (all but the last round)
- Allow the magazine to sit for several days so the spring can compress and relax
- Cycle the magazine repeatedly from full to empty to accelerate the break-in process
- After break-in, the magazine will load and function smoothly
