The Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag Tactical Turkey
The 835 Ulti-Mag represents a significant achievement in shotgun design: the world's first purpose-built 3.5-inch pump-action shotgun. This tactical turkey model delivers the power and pattern density serious hunters demand.
Barrel and Choke System
The 20-inch vent-rib barrel features an overbored design with 10-gauge dimensions throughout its length. This engineering reduces pellet deformation, resulting in tighter, more uniform patterns downrange. The barrel comes ported to reduce recoil and includes an X-Factor ported turkey choke tube for optimized performance.
Reliable Action
The 835's pump action combines proven reliability with smooth operation:
- Dual extractors for consistent shell removal
- Twin action bars for positive alignment
- Steel-to-steel lockup for durability
- Anti-jam elevator to prevent feeding malfunctions
Tactical Features
- Adjustable fiber optic sights for quick target acquisition in low light
- 6-position adjustable synthetic stock in Mossy Oak Obsession camo (length of pull: 10.75" to 14")
- Tactical shell holder stock for convenient ammunition storage
