Precision Bullet Detection for Your Reloading Operation
The Mark 7 Bullet Sense is an electronic detection system designed to prevent the most common—and costly—reloading mistakes before they happen. If you've ever had a clutch kick in from a sideways bullet, spilled powder from a round missing its bullet head, or unknowingly run out of brass, this sensor eliminates those problems.
How It Works
The system uses a precision laser mounted on a user-adjustable slider that you position exactly where you need it—at the bullet tip or directly on the brass. As your machine cycles:
- Laser interrupted (bullet or brass present) = machine continues
- Laser reflects back (nothing present or misalignment detected) = machine stops at the top of the stroke
The laser's precision is remarkable—it can even distinguish between an upright bullet and an upside-down hollow point.
