Mossberg Patriot .270 Winchester Rifle
The Patriot represents Mossberg's commitment to delivering genuine rifle quality at a fair price. This is a rifle built for hunters and shooters who understand that accuracy, reliability, and handling matter more than unnecessary frills.
Design and Handling
The Patriot's classic profile looks right on the gun rack and feels natural when shouldered. At 42.75 inches overall with a 13.75-inch length of pull, it fits most shooters comfortably. The rifle weighs 6.5 pounds—light enough for a day in the field, substantial enough to manage recoil.
Accuracy and Precision
Mossberg's button-rifled, fluted barrel is free-floated for consistent accuracy. The 22-inch barrel length is long enough to develop full velocity from the .270 Winchester cartridge while remaining handy in thick cover. The recessed crown protects the barrel's muzzle and contributes to shot-to-shot consistency.
Action and Controls
The spiral-fluted bolt features an ergonomic angle and knurled handle for confident manipulation and quick follow-up shots. The patented LBA (Lightning Bolt Action) trigger is user-adjustable, allowing you to customize trigger pull to your preference. The box-magazine design makes loading and unloading straightforward.
