The Taurus M44: Power and Precision in a Classic Platform
The Taurus M44 represents a straightforward approach to serious revolver shooting. This large-frame, six-shot revolver chambers the full-power .44 Magnum cartridge and delivers the kind of stopping power and accuracy that serious hunters and sport shooters demand.
Built for Performance
Hammer-Forged Construction: The M44 is hammer-forged for durability and reliability. This time-tested manufacturing process creates a revolver built to handle the pressures of full-power .44 Magnum loads shot after shot.
Hand-Fitted Action: Out of the box, this revolver features a hand-fitted action with a clean, crisp trigger. You won't need to send it back for tuning—it's ready to shoot.
Ported Barrel: The 8.37" ported barrel reduces muzzle flip and felt recoil, making follow-up shots faster and more accurate. This is particularly valuable when shooting heavy .44 Magnum loads.
