Browning BLR Lightweight 243 Winchester 20in Walnut

Browning BLR Lightweight: Precision Lever-Action Hunting Rifle

The Browning BLR Lightweight represents a modern evolution of the lever-action rifle, combining traditional handling with contemporary accuracy and reliability. This is a rifle built for hunters who demand performance without compromise.

Design and Construction

The heart of the BLR is its aircraft-grade aluminum alloy receiver paired with a multi-lug rotating bolt system. This combination allows the rifle to safely handle modern high-velocity hunting ammunition while maintaining the quick-handling characteristics hunters have valued for generations.

The action operates on a smooth rack-and-pinion system that cycles with glass-like smoothness. A precision-machined, button-rifled barrel with a 1:10-inch twist ensures consistent accuracy shot after shot.
