Browning Citori 725 Sporting 20-Gauge Shotgun

The Modern Evolution of a Shotgunning Legend

The Browning Citori 725 Sporting represents the culmination of generations of over-under shotgun engineering. Built on John M. Browning's timeless B25 Superposed design, the 725 incorporates modern performance features that make it a formidable choice for sporting clays and skeet shooters.

Design and Handling

The defining characteristic of the 725 is its low-profile receiver—significantly lower than traditional Citori designs—which positions your eye closer to the barrel axis. This geometry creates the "one with the gun" feeling that separates good shooters from great ones. The result is more instinctive shooting and better pellet placement on target.

Mechanical Superiority

FireLite Mechanical Trigger System: Offers lighter pull weights and superior feel compared to traditional designs. The Triple Trigger System allows you to fine-tune finger-to-trigger length of pull for your specific shooting style.

Barrel Dynamics: Browning's Total barrel dynamics and Inflex II recoil technology work together to manage recoil and improve shooting comfort during extended sessions.

Proven Construction: The full-width hinge pin and tapered locking bolt design has proven itself across generations of Citori shotguns. The tapered locking bolt engages a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs for maximum strength and reliability.

Sporting Features

• Ported 30-inch barrels reduce felt recoil and muzzle rise
• HiViz Pro-Comp fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead for fast target acquisition

• Grade III/IV walnut stock with gloss oil finish, close radius grip, and palm swell
• Gold-enhanced engraving adds refined aesthetics
