Leupold VX-2 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope, Duplex Reticle

Leupold VX-2 Rifle Scope: Precision Optics for the Serious Shooter

The Leupold VX-2 represents a thoughtful evolution in rifle scope design, combining proven optical principles with practical field improvements. This 3-9x40mm configuration strikes an excellent balance between magnification range and light-gathering capability, making it suitable for hunting and target shooting across varied distances and lighting conditions.

Optical Performance

The Index Matched Lens system with lead-free DiamondCoat lenses delivers up to 94% light transmission. This matters in the field—better light transmission means superior contrast and clarity, particularly during dawn and dusk when game is most active. The 3:1 zoom ratio provides versatility without sacrificing optical quality at any magnification setting.

Practical Field Features

• 1/4 MOA finger-click adjustments for elevation and windage—no tools required for zeroing
• Externally threaded eyepiece for fast, intuitive reticle focusing
• Duplex reticle offers simplicity and reliability that works in virtually any light
• One-inch main tube fits standard rifle mounts
• Blackened lens edges reduce internal reflections and glare

Durability You Can Count On

The 2nd Generation krypton/argon waterproofing system ensures this scope performs reliably in rain, snow, and fog. It is fully waterproof and fog-proof—a guarantee backed by Leupold's reputation for quality.

This is a blemished unit, meaning it may have minor cosmetic imperfections that do not affect optical or mechanical function. For shooters prioritizing performance over appearance, blemished optics offer genuine value.
