Leupold VX-6HD Rifle Scope: Precision Optics for Serious Hunters
The VX-6HD represents Leupold's commitment to optical excellence and practical field performance. This 3-18x50mm scope combines cutting-edge lens technology with user-centric features that make it equally at home in pre-dawn darkness or bright midday conditions.
Optical Performance
High-Definition Lenses deliver exceptional clarity across the entire magnification range. The Twilight Max Light Management System maximizes light transmission during low-light conditions—precisely when trophy game moves most actively. The 6:1 zoom ratio provides versatility from 3x for close-range work to 18x for precision shooting at distance.
Reticle and Illumination
The FireDot Duplex reticle combines the proven simplicity of the classic Duplex with a bright center dot for rapid target acquisition. Motion Sensor Technology (MST) activates the illumination when your rifle moves, then automatically enters standby mode after five minutes of inactivity. This intelligent system extends battery life while keeping your reticle ready when you need it. The scope uses a standard CR-2032 coin cell battery.
Elevation Adjustment System
The CDS-ZL2 Zero Lock dial represents a significant advancement in elevation adjustment. Once dialed to your zero, the mechanism locks in place—preventing accidental rotation that could compromise your point of impact. A simple button press unlocks the dial for elevation adjustments up to 40 MOA. All VX-6HD scopes are CDS-capable and include one free Custom Ballistic Dial matched to your specific load.
