Leupold VX-3i LRP Long-Range Riflescope
The VX-3i LRP represents Leupold's commitment to delivering optical excellence for shooters who demand precision at extended distances. This scope combines proven optical engineering with features specifically designed for long-range accuracy.
Key Features
- Magnification Range: 4.5-14x provides versatility from mid-range to extended distances
- Objective Lens: 50mm gathers maximum available light for clarity in challenging conditions
- Tube Diameter: 30mm accommodates modern tactical mounting systems and provides structural rigidity
- Reticle System: First-focal-plane TMR (Tactical Matte Reticle) maintains proportional holdover values across all magnification settings
- Side Focus: Precision parallax adjustment allows shooters to dial out parallax error without removing the rifle from the shoulder
- Finish: Matte coating reduces glint and provides a professional appearance
Performance Characteristics
The first-focal-plane design ensures that the reticle's subtensions remain accurate for holdover calculations at any magnification level. This is essential for long-range shooting where precise distance estimation and ballistic compensation are critical.
The 30mm tube diameter provides superior light transmission and allows for larger adjustment ranges—important when dialing for extreme distances or unconventional shooting angles.
Ideal For
This scope serves shooters engaged in precision rifle competitions, long-range hunting, and tactical applications where accuracy at distance is non-negotiable.
