Leupold American Marksman 3-9x40mm LR Wind-Plex Scope

Leupold American Marksman 3-9x40mm Rifle Scope

The American Marksman delivers professional-grade optics at a price that won't break the bank. This is a scope built for shooters who demand reliability without compromise.

Optical Performance

Multicoat 4 lens coatings ensure exceptional light transmission, resolution, and contrast across the entire magnification range. The lead-free optical glass provides the clarity you need for accurate shot placement at distance.

The 3-9x magnification range with a 40mm objective lens strikes an excellent balance between light gathering and portability. The 3:1 zoom ratio maintains a generous eyebox throughout the magnification range, making target acquisition and reticle alignment straightforward.

Reticle and Adjustment

The LR Wind-Plex reticle features long-range holdover points for quick distance compensation and 1-MOA windage marks on the horizontal crosshair. This design supports both close-range and extended-distance shooting.

1/4-MOA finger click adjustments allow precise zeroing and field corrections. The tactile power selector ring is intuitive to operate, while the lockable eyepiece holds your focus setting securely.

Build Quality and Durability

Constructed from 6061-T6 aluminum with a one-inch maintube, the American Marksman is engineered for durability. The scope is 100% fogproof and waterproof, ready for demanding field conditions.

Leupold backs this scope with their Full Lifetime Guarantee—a promise of quality that spans your shooting lifetime.
