Lyman 66 Receiver Peep Sight
The Lyman 66 is a time-tested receiver sight designed to enhance accuracy on flat-receiver firearms where traditional scope mounting isn't practical or desired.
Key Features
- Precision Adjustments: 1/4-minute audible click micrometer adjustments for both elevation and windage
- Quick-Release Design: Slide mechanism allows rapid removal without tools
- Coin-Slotted Knobs: "Stayset" design prevents accidental adjustment during hunting or shooting
- Dual Aperture System: Includes both large hunting aperture and small target aperture for versatility across shooting conditions
- Broad Compatibility: Mounts on flat receivers found on lever-action rifles (Winchester 94, Marlin 336), modern shotguns, and SKS-pattern rifles
Why Choose a Peep Sight?
For hunters and shooters who prefer iron sights, peep sights offer superior accuracy compared to open sights. The small aperture naturally centers your eye and provides a clearer sight picture, especially in low-light hunting conditions. The Lyman 66 combines this proven optical advantage with rugged construction and user-friendly adjustments.
Perfect For
Traditional rifle hunters, cowboy action shooters, and anyone seeking reliable iron sight accuracy without the weight or complexity of a scope.
