The rifle uses Straight Flight Technology arrows engineered specifically for the extreme pressures generated by CO2 propulsion. This is critical: only Umarex AirJavelin arrows should be used with this rifle. Standard archery arrows lack the structural integrity to withstand CO2 pressure and can fail catastrophically, creating a serious safety hazard.
Accuracy and Customization
The AirJavelin ships with fixed front and rear sights suitable for getting on target quickly. The full-length Picatinny rail on top accepts any standard optic—red dot sights, scopes, or magnified systems—for precision shooting at distance. A secondary Picatinny rail below the barrel provides additional mounting options. Both sides of the stock feature M-LOK slots for tactical accessories.
