Meprolight Hyper-Bright Front Sight for Kimber 1911
The Meprolight ML41230 represents a thoughtful approach to defensive pistol sighting. This fixed front sight combines a large, brightly colored ring with tritium illumination—a pairing that serves a specific purpose: speed of sight picture acquisition under stress.
Key Features
- Contrasting Ring Design: The bright green ring provides exceptional visibility in daylight shooting, creating a natural focal point for the shooter's eye
- Tritium Illumination: Green tritium glows reliably in low-light and nighttime conditions without requiring batteries or activation
- Optimized for Suppressed Pistols: Specifically engineered for Kimber 1911 suppressed models, accounting for the altered sight plane
- Fixed Mounting: Solid, non-adjustable installation ensures reliability and durability
Why This Matters
In defensive and competitive shooting, the front sight is your reference point. The contrast between the colored ring and tritium element helps your eye find and focus on the sight faster—a measurable advantage when seconds matter. The Hyper-Bright design works equally well in bright daylight and complete darkness, making it a versatile choice for shooters who train across varied conditions.
This sight is built for the serious 1911 user who demands both performance and reliability.
