Nosler Ballistic Tip Hunting Bullets: Proven Performance for Ethical Harvests
The Nosler Ballistic Tip represents decades of refinement in hunting bullet design. These 160-grain projectiles in 7mm (.284") diameter combine proven ballistic principles with practical hunting performance.
Key Design Features
Aerodynamic Polymer Tip
- Color-coded by caliber for easy identification
- Initiates rapid, uniform expansion upon impact
- Improves ballistic coefficient for flatter trajectories
Optimized Jacket Construction
- Fully-tapered jacket maximizes energy transfer
- Maintains consistent weight retention across practical hunting velocities
- Heavily jacketed base creates a platform for large-diameter mushroom expansion
Boat-Tail Design
- Enhances long-range accuracy and stability
- Reduces wind drift at extended distances
- Improves downrange velocity retention
Performance Characteristics
These bullets excel at delivering the accuracy consistency and downrange punch required for clean kills in varied hunting situations. The combination of controlled expansion and weight retention makes them ideal for deer-sized game at typical hunting ranges.
For Reloaders
The Ballistic Tip is a favorite among handloaders who demand precision and reliability. Each box contains 50 bullets, allowing you to develop loads tailored to your specific rifle and hunting conditions.
