Versatile Shooting Rest for Vehicle and Field Use
The Protektor Model Small Owl Ear Straddle Bag is a specialized shooting rest designed for shooters who need stable support from unconventional positions. This unfilled bag features a unique dual-bag design that allows it to straddle rounded surfaces such as vehicle doors, fence railings, or other field obstacles.
Key Features
- Dual support design allows the bag to rest securely on car doors with windows down
- Unfilled construction lets you customize weight and firmness with your choice of fill material
- Versatile mounting works on vehicle doors, fence rails, and other rounded surfaces
- Accessibility option enables disabled hunters to shoot from vehicles (where legally permitted)
Practical Applications
This bag is ideal for hunters and shooters who need stable rests in field conditions where traditional benches or bags aren't available. The straddle design distributes weight evenly across rounded surfaces, reducing shift and movement during shooting. Whether you're setting up on a vehicle door, wooden fence rail, or similar support, the dual-bag configuration provides the stability needed for accurate shooting.
