Full-Length Sizer Die
The sizer die brings cases to SAAMI minimum cartridge dimensions, ensuring consistent headspace and reliable feeding. It performs three critical functions simultaneously:
- Sizes the outside of the case to proper dimensions
- De-primes spent primers
- Expands the neck to accept new bullets
Engineered vents prevent case damage from trapped air and excessive lubricant buildup. Headspace is held to minimum tolerances to avoid unwanted changes to case body length during the sizing process.
