RCBS 3-Die Roll Crimp Set .50-95 Win Express

RCBS Legacy Series .50-95 Winchester Express Reloading Dies

The resurgence of black powder rifle shooting has created a genuine need for quality reloading equipment designed specifically for these classic cartridges. RCBS answers that call with their Legacy series—a thoughtfully engineered line of dies for the serious black powder enthusiast.

What's Included

This three-die set provides everything needed to reload .50-95 Winchester Express ammunition:

• Sizer Die: Sizes the case to proper dimensions and removes the spent primer. Cases must be lubricated before sizing.
• Expander Die: Opens the case mouth to the correct diameter for bullet seating and imparts the slight bell or flare necessary for reliable bullet feeding in lever-action and single-shot rifles.
• Seater Die: Seats the bullet to precise depth and applies a roll crimp to secure the projectile.

Design Philosophy

These dies are engineered for straight-wall cartridges—the foundation of black powder rifle ammunition. The roll crimp design is particularly important for black powder loads, where the softer lead bullets and lower pressures benefit from positive case mouth engagement.

For the Dedicated Enthusiast

Whether you're shooting an original Winchester or a modern reproduction rifle, this set supports your commitment to authentic black powder shooting. Quality reloading equipment ensures consistent, reliable ammunition that honors both the cartridge's heritage and your rifle's capabilities.
