The RCBS X Die Full Length Die Set represents a genuine innovation in reloading technology. This two-die set includes an X Die sizer and standard seater die, designed to solve one of reloading's most tedious chores: repeated case trimming.
How the X Die Works
The X Die features a specially designed mandrel with an integrated expander ball and decapping pin. Its patented design works by reducing case growth at the mouth during the sizing process. The extremely close tolerance between the mandrel and the die's neck wall prevents the case neck from thickening as it's pushed back into length.
Practical Benefits
- Trim once, reload many times: After an initial trim of .020 inch off maximum length, you're done trimming
