Push-button insert release makes changing metering inserts effortless. Simply press the Lock-N-Load button, swap in your preset insert, verify the charge weight, and resume reloading. Inserts swap in seconds, allowing you to keep preset inserts organized with their corresponding die sets.

With only 0.002" clearance between drum and rotor—the tightest tolerance in the industry for a standard measure—the Lock-N-Load delivers smooth, reliable function with all powder types, whether extruded or ball propellant. The o-ring adjustment on the metering insert allows fine, incremental tension adjustments for precise charge weights.

Flexible Mounting Options

Mount to your reloading bench using the included standard mounting bracket and lock ring. Alternatively, use Hornady Lock-N-Load bushings to mount on the Fast Load Powder Measure Stand or integrate with the Lock-N-Load AP for automatic powder drop during progressive reloading.
