Hornady Outfitter: Built for Unforgiving Conditions
When your hunt takes you into the backcountry or demands performance in wet, demanding environments, Hornady Outfitter ammunition delivers. This is ammunition engineered for hunters who refuse to compromise, regardless of weather or terrain.
The CX Bullet Advantage
At the heart of Outfitter lies Hornady's CX (Copper alloy eXpanding) bullet—a monolithic hunting projectile that represents the cutting edge of modern ammunition design.
Key Features:
- Uniform, controlled expansion ensures reliable performance across a wide range of distances and game
- Superior weight retention through bone and heavy muscle, delivering deeper penetration where it matters most
- Monolithic construction eliminates jacket-core separation for consistent, predictable results
- California-compatible design meets nontraditional ammunition requirements in regulated areas
Waterproof Protection
The nickel-plated cases aren't just corrosion-resistant—they're sealed watertight. Whether you're crossing streams, hunting in rain, or storing ammunition in humid conditions, your rounds remain protected from moisture and corrosion.
