Performance and Design
Rio manufactures their components in-house, which means tighter quality control and more consistent patterning from box to box. The #6 shot size is the classic choice for dove and upland game birds—large enough to deliver clean, ethical kills at typical hunting ranges, yet small enough for effective patterns in open-choked shotguns.
The high brass construction ensures reliable feeding and extraction across a wide range of shotgun types, from older side-by-sides to modern semi-automatics.
Why Choose Rio
With U.S. headquarters in Texas and manufacturing facilities focused on American sportsmen, Rio understands what hunters need: ammunition that performs consistently, shot after shot. Whether you're working a dove field or hunting quail in the brush, these shells deliver the velocity and shot charge needed for success in the field.
