Safariland 6360RDS ALS/SLS Holster for S&W M&P2.0 9 with X300U

Safariland 6360RDS: Red Dot Ready Security Holster

The 6360RDS represents a thoughtful evolution in duty holster design, engineered specifically for the modern armed professional who has invested in red dot optics. This is not a compromise solution—it's a purpose-built platform.

Security Features

The holster employs a dual-locking system that sets it apart:

• Automatic Locking System (ALS): Secures the weapon the moment it's holstered, locking in all directions
• Self Locking System (SLS): A rotating hood that adds an additional layer of retention
• Thumb-activated release: Intuitive operation allows the draw to proceed straight upward with no twisting or manipulation required

Design and Construction

Safariland's SafariLaminate thermal-molded construction provides a rigid platform that protects both your handgun and mounted optics from impact and environmental exposure. The suede interior lining preserves your pistol's finish while maintaining secure retention.

The holster is specifically engineered to accommodate red dot sights mounted directly to the slide. Safariland notes that compatibility with aftermarket mounting solutions may vary due to differences in optic depth, dovetail placement, and other variables.

Practical Application

This is a holster built for serious use—whether duty carry, tactical training, or competition. The straightforward draw mechanics and reliable retention make it a logical choice for shooters who have moved beyond iron sights.
