SOG Pentagon Elite Fixed Knife
The Pentagon Elite from SOG Knives represents serious cutting tool engineering. This is a knife designed by people who understand what works in the field.
Blade Performance
The 6-inch dagger-style blade is forged from premium S35VN stainless steel—a material chosen for its balance of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of maintenance. At 4mm thick, the blade stock provides the structural integrity needed for demanding cutting tasks while maintaining a geometry that takes and holds a keen edge.
The black PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) finish serves dual purposes: it protects the steel from environmental corrosion and wear, and it delivers the tactical aesthetic that appeals to serious users. This is not decoration—it is functional protection.
Handle and Control
The G10 handle material is slip-resistant by design. Whether your hands are wet, gloved, or simply working hard, you maintain positive control. The overall length of 11.5 inches provides good reach and leverage for extended cutting work.
The Bottom Line
This is a fixed-blade knife built for users who demand reliability. No moving parts to fail, no mechanisms to maintain. Just a sharp blade, a secure handle, and the kind of straightforward engineering that has served serious cutters for generations.
