SOG Apocalypse Edge Axe: Built for the Backcountry
The Apocalypse Edge Axe represents serious thinking about what a modern outdoorsman actually needs. This is a tool that doesn't compromise.
Design and Construction
SOG engineers this axe from 420 stainless steel—a material selection that speaks to durability and corrosion resistance. The 3-3/4" blade delivers genuine cutting power while the 15" overall length provides the balance every experienced woodsman understands: enough leverage for real work without the burden of excessive weight.
Practical Features
Dual-purpose head design: The sharp axe blade handles your primary cutting tasks, while the spike on the reverse side offers additional utility for splitting, prying, or emergency applications.
Field-ready: Comes with a nylon sheath, so you're equipped to carry this tool safely and securely from camp to woodline.
The Bottom Line
This is an axe for people who understand that versatility and reliability matter more than novelty. Whether you're processing firewood, clearing brush, or handling camp tasks, the Apocalypse Edge delivers the performance you expect from SOG's reputation for serious outdoor tools.
