Sierra BlitzKing 6mm 70-Grain Rifle Bullets

Sierra BlitzKing 6mm Rifle Bullets

Sierra's BlitzKing bullets represent a thoughtful marriage of two critical performance requirements: explosive terminal performance and match-grade accuracy. These 70-grain projectiles are purpose-built for varmint and small-game hunting where both precision and decisive expansion matter.

Key Features

• Proprietary Polymer Tip: The distinctive colored tip is engineered to initiate rapid, reliable expansion upon impact
• Thin Jacket Design: Carefully controlled jacket thickness promotes explosive expansion while maintaining the accuracy standards Sierra is known for
• MatchKing Accuracy: Built with the same exacting tolerances that made Sierra's MatchKing bullets legendary among precision shooters
• Velocity Rating: Designed for safe performance at muzzle velocities up to 4000 fps

Performance Profile

These bullets excel in modern varmint cartridges like the .243 Winchester, where their light weight and aerodynamic design deliver flat trajectories and quick energy transfer. The combination of thin jackets and polymer-tipped construction ensures that expansion begins immediately upon impact, making them particularly effective on prairie dogs, ground squirrels, and similar small game.

Sierra has built its reputation on delivering that extra margin of performance—on the range and in the field. The BlitzKing line continues that tradition.
