Smith & Wesson's Volunteer XV Pro delivers a complete, ready-to-shoot platform with 16" 5R rifling barrel, M-LOK handguard, ambidextrous controls, and premium B5 Systems furniture for sport shooting and tactical applications.
Smith & Wesson has engineered the Volunteer XV Pro as a purpose-built rifle that arrives ready for immediate deployment in the field or on the range. This is a modern sporting rifle designed with both the experienced shooter and the newcomer in mind.
The rifle features a 16-inch target-crowned barrel with 1:8 twist 5R rifling—a profile that promotes accuracy and reduces bullet deformation. The barrel is threaded 1/2x28 for suppressor or muzzle device compatibility. A PWS 556 muzzle brake comes installed, managing recoil and muzzle rise effectively.
Ambidextrous operation is standard throughout. The Radian Raptor-LT charging handle functions smoothly from either side of the receiver. A flat-face trigger provides clean, predictable breaks. The forged integral trigger guard ensures durability, and a forward assist gives you positive control over bolt closure.
The 15-inch aluminum M-LOK handguard offers ample real estate for mounting optics, lights, and other tactical accessories. Two M-LOK rail sections and Magpul Type-2 rail covers are included to get you started.
The B5 Systems Enhanced SOPMOD stock features a quick-detach attachment point for slings and provides a comfortable, adjustable cheek weld. The B5 Systems P-Grip Type 23 offers a natural grip angle and textured surface for positive control.
Williams Gun Sight Company folding sights provide a backup aiming system. The flat-top receiver accepts any standard Picatinny-mounted optic.
The Volunteer XV Pro represents Smith & Wesson's commitment to delivering a rifle that performs reliably in any shooting discipline.
