The heart of the AXE is Gemtech's GVAC upper receiver. This suppressor-optimized design addresses a real problem: gas blowback in the shooter's face when running suppressed. The pinned low-profile GVAC gas block and carbine-length direct impingement system work together to mitigate this issue, making extended suppressed shooting more comfortable and practical.
Barrel and Accuracy
The 14.5-inch barrel features a 1:8 twist rate and 5R rifling, optimized for modern ammunition weights. Armornite finish protects against corrosion. A Gemtech ETM flash hider comes standard, providing flash reduction whether you're running suppressed or not.
