Tethrd FAS Frame Hunting Backpack

The FAS Frame: Purpose-Built for the Serious Hunter

The Tethrd FAS Frame represents a fundamental shift in how hunters approach the challenge of extracting game from remote terrain. This is not a compromise solution—it is a frame built specifically for the demands of backcountry hunting.

Design and Construction

The frame employs military-grade glass-filled nylon, a material selected for its strength-to-weight ratio and durability in harsh field conditions. At 5 pounds, the frame itself remains light enough that it does not become a burden, yet robust enough to handle the substantial loads encountered during a successful hunt.

Load Management and Comfort

Weight distribution separates adequate gear from exceptional gear. The FAS Frame features:

• Three load lifter attachment points that optimize how weight transfers from pack to frame to your body
• Patent-pending adjustable waist belt with lumbar support, ranging from 28 to 46 inches to accommodate hunters of different sizes
• Two-stage foam padding on both shoulder straps and waist belt that maintains comfort as load weight increases throughout your pack-out
• Four inches of torso length adjustment to ensure proper fit regardless of your build

Versatility and Compatibility

The frame accepts Tethrd's FAS pack via four included gatekeeper clips, and accommodates many other packs through six modular loop clips. This flexibility means you can adapt the frame to your existing gear or upgrade components independently.

The Meat Sling Advantage

The integrated meat sling adjusts to handle an entire mature, deboned whitetail buck. Two removable blaze orange straps provide visibility during pack-out, while four compression straps keep your load secure and stable across difficult terrain. MOLLE attachment points on the waist belt allow you to carry water, tools, and other essentials without additional bulk.

The Bottom Line

The FAS Frame is engineered for hunters who understand that the work begins after the shot. It transforms a grueling pack-out into a manageable task, allowing you to hunt deeper and recover your game with dignity.
