The Trijicon VCOG: Combat-Ready Optics for Every Distance
The Trijicon VCOG (Variable Combat Optical Gunsight) represents a fundamental shift in how modern shooters approach variable magnification. This 1-6x24mm scope bridges the gap between close-quarters engagement and precision long-range work—a capability that separates serious optics from the merely adequate.
Optical Excellence
Trijicon engineered the VCOG with superior glass quality and exceptional light-gathering capabilities. The result is zero distortion across the entire magnification range, a critical advantage when speed and accuracy matter. The first focal plane reticle ensures that bullet drop compensations and ranging subtensions remain true regardless of your chosen magnification setting.
The Reticle System
The illuminated green segment circle/crosshair reticle combines two proven aiming concepts. The circular element aids rapid target acquisition at close range, while the crosshair provides precision hold points for distance shooting. Built-in bullet drop compensation and ranging capabilities allow experienced shooters to estimate distance and apply correct holdover without external calculations.
