Design Philosophy
Shoulder holsters excel when you need quick access while keeping your hands free. The 8700's simple design means less to go wrong and more time spent shooting rather than adjusting gear. The nylon material resists moisture and requires minimal maintenance—a practical choice for hunters, outdoor enthusiasts, and those who value reliability over complexity.
Practical Considerations
This holster works best with medium-frame pistols and performs well in vehicle-based activities, hiking, and hunting scenarios. The shoulder carry position keeps your firearm accessible without printing against your waistline, making it ideal for layered clothing.
Uncle Mike's has built a reputation on delivering honest, functional gear at reasonable prices. The 8700 continues that tradition.
