This two-piece scope mount system is engineered specifically for Savage flatback receivers manufactured in 2003 and earlier, accommodating both long and short action configurations.
Design and Compatibility
The mount accounts for the unique geometry of Savage flatback receivers, where the front of the receiver is rounded and the back is flat. The front and back bases are different heights—the rear mount is taller than the front—to ensure proper scope alignment despite the receiver's lower profile at the rear.
