Weaver Grand Slam 2-Piece Steel Dovetail Base Winchester 70

Weaver Grand Slam Steel Dovetail Scope Base

The Weaver Grand Slam represents a time-tested approach to mounting optics on classic Winchester rifles. This two-piece base system is engineered for shooters who demand reliability and longevity from their equipment.

Construction & Materials

Steel Construction: Built entirely from steel, this base is designed to withstand the rigors of field use and the punishment of sustained recoil. Unlike lighter alternatives, steel provides the mass and rigidity necessary for consistent scope alignment over a lifetime of shooting.

Design Features

• Two-piece configuration allows for independent adjustment and fine-tuning of scope position
• Locking dovetail system secures the scope rings with mechanical precision, preventing shift or creep
• Dovetail mounting specifically engineered for Winchester 70 Pre-1964 rifles
• Proven design that has served generations of hunters and marksmen

Performance

The mechanical advantage of the locking dovetail system means your scope alignment remains stable through years of use. The two-piece design distributes recoil forces more effectively than single-piece alternatives, protecting both your optic and your point of aim.

This is a base for serious shooters who understand that quality mounting hardware is the foundation of accurate shooting.
