Bergara B-14 Timber .243 Win 22" Walnut Rifle

Bergara B-14 Timber: Precision Meets Tradition

The B-14 Timber represents Bergara's commitment to delivering genuine accuracy at a price serious hunters can afford. This is a rifle built on proven principles: a quality barrel, a solid action, and a stock designed for real-world hunting.

Design and Handling

The Monte Carlo walnut stock features a raised comb and cheek piece—details that matter when you're behind the rifle for hours in the field. The checkered grip provides positive control in various weather conditions. At 7.3 pounds, the Timber balances well and carries comfortably without excessive fatigue.

Accuracy Foundation

Bergara barrels are known for consistency. The 22-inch number 4 taper barrel is crowned and finished in durable black Cerakote. The 1:10 twist rate is optimized for .243 Winchester ballistics, stabilizing a wide range of factory ammunition from 55-grain varmint loads to 100-grain hunting rounds.

Practical Features

• Action: Right-hand bolt with thumb safety
• Magazine: Four-round hinged floor plate (convertible to detachable magazine with optional kit)
• Scope Mounting: Drilled and tapped for Remington 700 bases with 6-48 screws
• Overall Length: 41.5 inches

The Verdict

The B-14 Timber is a no-nonsense hunting rifle. It delivers the accuracy you need, the ergonomics that matter, and the reliability expected from a quality firearm—without unnecessary complications or premium pricing.
