CRKT P.S.D. Folding Knife with Assisted Opening

Columbia River Knife & Tool P.S.D. Folding Knife

The P.S.D.—Particle. Separation. Device.—is purpose-built for one job: slicing. This is a knife designed by someone who understands that a blade's geometry matters.

Blade Design

The full recurve profile combined with a highly efficient double grind creates a cutting tool that works. High carbon stainless steel takes and holds an edge well, and sharpening is straightforward when the time comes.

Deployment and Operation

Assisted Opening means the blade deploys in a blink. The flipper mechanism is intuitive—index your thumb, flick, and the blade is ready. The IKBS ball bearing pivot ensures smooth, consistent deployment every time you need it.

Closing is equally user-friendly. The liner lock disengages with one hand, allowing you to fold the blade safely and securely.

Carry and Handling

The handle combines G10 and a carbon fiber layer, delivering strength without unnecessary weight. The low-profile pocket clip keeps the knife secure and accessible. Blue backspacer and accent details provide visual distinction.

The Bottom Line

This is an everyday carry knife for people who actually use their knives. The geometry works. The materials are proven. The deployment is fast. That's what matters.
