System Capabilities
The SDF-100C includes 1000 feet of boundary wire and 100 flags, allowing you to contain an area up to 1⅓ acres immediately. The system expands to 100 acres with additional wire and flag kits (sold separately). Multiple dogs can be accommodated by purchasing additional collar receivers.
How It Works
The transmitter sends a radio signal through the buried boundary wire. Your dog's collar receiver detects this signal and provides a warning beep or vibration as your dog approaches the boundary. If your dog continues toward the wire, a static correction is delivered. Built-in lightning protection safeguards the system during storms, and a wire-break transmitter alarm alerts you to potential boundary issues.
Training and Safety
Boundary flags provide visual markers during the training phase, helping your dog understand the containment area. Once trained, your dog roams freely within the boundary while wearing the lightweight collar receiver.
