Why This Configuration Works
The 300 AAC Blackout was purpose-built for short barrels and suppressor use. At 10.5 inches, this barrel length allows the cartridge to perform as intended—delivering effective energy downrange while maintaining subsonic velocities when paired with appropriate ammunition. The compact profile makes this pistol suitable for home defense, training, and recreational shooting.
The included stabilizing brace provides a legal and practical way to improve handling and accuracy compared to a bare pistol grip.
Practical Considerations
This is a serious tool for shooters who understand AR platform fundamentals. Whether you're building a suppressed home defense system or exploring the capabilities of modern pistol-caliber platforms, the One Horse OH-15 offers solid construction and practical performance.
