SIX8 A5 6.8 Specical 16" Olive Drab Green Piston Rifle

SIX8 A5 Modern Sporting Rifle

The SIX8 A5 represents a thoughtful approach to intermediate-power rifle design. Built around the 6.8 Special cartridge, this rifle delivers effective performance in a practical package suitable for sport shooting and field use.

Key Features

• Caliber: 6.8 Special—a modern intermediate cartridge offering improved ballistics over traditional options
• Barrel: 16" with short-stroke piston operation for reliability and reduced maintenance
• Finish: Olive Drab Green—a durable, professional appearance
• Capacity: 30+1 rounds
• Action Type: Short-stroke piston system provides consistent cycling and reduced fouling compared to direct impingement designs

Why This Rifle Works

The short-stroke piston design is proven technology. It separates the piston assembly from the bolt carrier group, reducing carbon buildup and extending service intervals. The 16" barrel strikes a balance between velocity and handling, making this rifle equally at home on the range or in the field.

The 6.8 Special cartridge offers modern ballistics in a compact platform, delivering more energy than 5.56 NATO while remaining controllable and practical for most shooters.

Ideal For

Sport shooters seeking a modern rifle with proven reliability, hunters wanting an intermediate-power option, and shooters who appreciate piston-driven systems for reduced maintenance.
