Benelli BR220 Light 28-Gauge Over/Under Shotgun

The Benelli BR220 Light represents a refined approach to 28-gauge shotgunning, combining traditional over/under design with modern manufacturing excellence.

Key Features

• Gauge & Barrel Configuration: 28-gauge with 28-inch barrels
• Design Philosophy: Lightweight profile engineered for extended field use without fatigue
• Action Type: Over/under configuration for versatility in upland hunting and clay target sports
• Practical Advantages: The 28-gauge delivers adequate shot patterns for most game birds while reducing recoil and ammunition costs compared to larger gauges

Performance Characteristics

The BR220 Light excels in situations demanding precision and finesse. The 28-gauge is particularly effective for quail, woodcock, and similar upland game where shot placement matters more than raw power. For clay shooters, the lighter recoil encourages better form and faster target acquisition.

• Clay target shooters who value precision over power
• Shooters transitioning to smaller gauges
• Those who appreciate the classic appeal of 28-gauge shotgunning

The Benelli BR220 Light is a purposeful tool for shooters who understand that sometimes less truly is more.
