Ruger Scout 35 Wheelen Brown/Mobil 22" Threaded

Ruger Scout 35 Wheelen: Purpose-Built Hunting Rifle

The Ruger Scout represents a modern interpretation of Jeff Cooper's original Scout rifle concept—a compact, handy rifle suitable for general-purpose hunting and field work.

Key Features

• Caliber: .35 Wheelen, a potent intermediate cartridge ideal for medium to large game
• Barrel: 22" threaded (5/8x24) for suppressor compatibility
• Stock: Brown furniture paired with Mobil chassis for modularity and ergonomic control
• Action: Ruger's proven bolt-action mechanism
• Compact Profile: Designed for quick handling in brush and timber

Why the Scout Concept Works

The Scout rifle philosophy emphasizes balance: enough power for ethical hunting, enough accuracy for precision shooting, and enough portability for all-day field use. The .35 Wheelen delivers substantial energy without excessive recoil, making it suitable for hunters of varying experience levels.

The threaded barrel opens possibilities for sound suppression, reducing noise signature and recoil impulse—practical benefits in the field.

Practical Considerations

This rifle excels as a general-purpose hunting tool. The brown furniture and modern chassis provide a contemporary aesthetic while maintaining traditional Scout rifle functionality. Whether you're pursuing whitetail, black bear, or hog, the Scout 35 Wheelen offers the versatility serious hunters demand.
