The Hatsan Mod 130S Vortex QE: Big Bore Performance in a Breakbarrel Package

The Hatsan Mod 130S Vortex QE represents a significant step forward in air rifle design. This .30 caliber breakbarrel delivers the kind of power and precision that serious hunters and pest control professionals demand.

Performance and Power

Velocity and Energy: This rifle launches .30 caliber pellets at speeds up to 590 FPS, generating 34 foot-pounds of energy—enough to ethically take small game and effectively eliminate pest species. The Vortex gas piston system provides consistent shot-to-shot performance without the maintenance demands of traditional spring systems.

Noise Management

The integrated QuietEnergy sound moderator shrouds the barrel and significantly reduces downrange noise. This feature makes the 130S more neighbor-friendly while maintaining the power you need for effective hunting.

Trigger and Accuracy

The acclaimed Quattro 2-stage adjustable trigger can be tuned to your preferred pull weight, promoting better accuracy and shot control. The rifle ships with quality TruGlo fiber-optic open sights—a red front and green rear—but the scope rail accepts standard mounts for optics like the included 3-9x40 scope.

Ergonomics and Control

Stock Design: The all-weather synthetic stock features a thumbhole design with checkering on the grip and forearm for secure handling. The elevation-adjustable Monte Carlo cheek piece ensures proper cheek weld regardless of your shooting position or optic height.

Recoil Management: Despite its power, the 130S incorporates Hatsan's patented Shock Absorber System and Trio Pad butt pad to manage felt recoil effectively.
