Barrel and Accuracy

The NitroFire features a 26-inch chromoly steel barrel with a fluted and tapered profile. The 1:24 VAPR twist rate is faster than traditional muzzleloader twists, which provides superior bullet stabilization and expands your projectile options. This modern twist rate helps deliver the accuracy you need for ethical hunting at extended ranges.

Trigger System

Equipped with Traditions' Elite XT trigger system, the NitroFire delivers a crisp, clean break optimized for hunting. The trigger features a rebounding hammer and cross-block safety, giving you confidence in both performance and control.

Revolutionary Loading System

The NitroFire is the first production muzzleloader to use Federal Premium's Firestick encapsulated powder charges:

• Breech-loading powder: Charges load from the breech for speed and consistency
• Muzzle-loading bullets: Projectiles load traditionally from the muzzle
• Weather-resistant: Polymer-encapsulated charges are completely impervious to moisture

You'll need a 209 shotgun primer (sold separately) to fire each charge.

Receiver and Mounting
